Print allocation
Click the Print Allocation tab to define settings for print allocation. Print allocation provides documents to an external print service in order to send them finally to the end user by postage. Print allocation can be enabled / disabled in general. If it is disabled, all further settings will be disabled.

To configure settings

Select the check box Force Printing of Documents After the Following Time Period(s) to enable the forced printing feature.

Specify the types of the Postbox for which you want to enable printing. The following options are available:

Private
-
Business
-
noAccess
-
Forwarding
-
Accumulative

The printing can be configured for each document type separately:

Select the Customer Type from the list.

Specify the Time (Days) property.

Print settings can be set for each customer type. The first rule row for the default customer type is always available and initial settings are empty. To add or remove further rules, click More / Remove.
For each document type a default entry is set which cannot be deleted. However, printing can be deactivated by setting the Time property to zero.

Specify the optional further parameters; see table below for more details.

Click Save to save your changes: on success, a corresponding message will be displayed (similar to Saving and canceling changes). To cancel the operation, click Cancel instead of saving.

Force Printing of Documents After the Following Time Period(s) |
Select the check box to enable all further printing settings. If force printing is disabled, no documents will be scheduled for forced printing at all. |

For Postboxes of Type |
Select the postbox type for which you want to enable printing by checking the corresponding boxes. |

For Document Types |
Select the Postbox document type in the list for which you want to configure printing. |

Customer Type |
Define a specific customer type. It is assured that there is only one rule defined for a specific customer type per document type. |

Time (Days) |
Set the number of days after that document postage is forced, if the user hasn’t opened the document; calculated from the date the document has been archived. If the value is empty or zero, the rule is not active. |

Apply to Number of Days in the Past |
Specify the time frame to be considered in the past for forced printing. If a document type is configured for forced printing that wasn't included before, only documents created within defined time frame will be included; and not all documents of the recent years. |

Print Address Page |
Select the check box to create an additional address cover sheet. |

Enable Scheduled Print |
Select the check box to enable scheduled printing. It is possible to enable explicitly scheduling of selected documents for printing for Postbox User and / or Account Manager. If enabled, an additional action becomes available in the standard ImageMaster client or in the PostboxClient that allows adding of selected documents of the hit list to the print queue. The following options are supported:
