Creating and modifying documents
An ImageMaster document includes attributes (also known as “index values”), and one or several files attached. You can manage an ImageMaster document in a document view (see chapter Document details view for more information). The WorkplaceClient offers the following functionalities for processing documents:
A document in ImageMaster is a container which manages several revisions, where a revision represents a specific version of a document. Whenever you add or delete a file or modify some attribute values, a new version may be generated by the system in the background. However, the exact behavior for the versioning of documents depends on how ImageMaster has been set up in your specific environment.
The steps for adding and deleting files and for modifying attributes may also be combined, i.e. within a document view several steps may be executed (adding several files, deleting several files and modifying attributes) which may subsequently all be finalized by clicking the button Save, which manifests the changes in the archive. A corresponding success message for archiving will be displayed:
