Introduction

The AdminClient is represented by the navigation menu entry “Administration” in the navigation panel of the ImageMaster client. It provides means to adjust and customize ImageMaster. Depending on permissions, an administrator may also have access to basic document management views, which are described in the WorkplaceClient manual [UM WorkplaceClient]. Focus in this documentation is put on configuration and administration topics.

Access to the AdminClient or to specific configuration rooms can be restricted on several levels:

  • ImageMaster permissions (which are granted via the AdminClient or administration web services)

  • Network access restrictions (set up during the installation by the configuration script)

The network access restrictions can also exclude the AdminClient navigation menu entry “Administration” from the navigation panel. For details see the installation manual [IM ImageMaster] section Network access security.
