Policy settings

The ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail add an e-mail archiving feature to Microsoft Exchange that allows reducing storage consumption at Exchange server level. The following modes of operation are supported:

  • Final archive for mailboxes to archive all items (e-mails, calendar, and contacts) from an Exchange Server mailbox to secure them in ImageMaster (before the planned decommissioning and deletion of this mailbox in Exchange)

  • Compliance service for e-mail to archive all e-mails at Exchange server level according to compliance policy settings that are controlled by the system administration

In this section you can configure policies for these modes of archiving. For further details also see [SM Mail].
