The SAP ArchiveLink Interface, which is implemented in the ImageMaster Content Services for ERP module, does not offer a possibility to transfer SAP metadata of a document from an SAP system to the ImageMaster. In some scenarios, however, it is required to have such metadata available in the archive or to synchronize metadata between the two systems SAP and ImageMaster in general. This makes the archive more usable when searching for information without using SAP as the leading system.
For this purpose ImageMaster provides the MetadataSync for ERP, which is described in a separate manual [SM ERP MDS].
