This document describes an exemplified installation of the Oracle database software that can be used by ImageMaster 9. The installation is accomplished by the following steps:

Creation of the ImageMaster 9 Oracle environment including:

tablespaces

database user and schema

database tables

Examples in this guide which relate to Unix are based on the Solaris operating system and command line orders are based on the “Bash” command line interpreter. Other platforms or command line interpreters can have a different syntax or show different outputs but the basic installation principles are the same.
