Failed services – CollectorService.log
The CollectorService.log file contains entries for all archive files that should be deleted but still exist because the deletions failed and the system could not automatically recover. This can happen, for example, if an archiving action is aborted and the archive file cannot be deleted as part of the cleanup.
The file is based on the CSV format with the following columns for each file:
-
a timestamp of the time when the last deletion attempt failed (the time that the log entry was written)
-
the name of the archive that contains the file
-
the full archive location of the file (including the archive address and the path inside the archive). The format depends on the archive type. For most archives this is a URL such as:
netapp://user@host/000/000/000/001/002
-
the error message from the last failed delete attempt
