Guidelines for an initial setup

The Integration Service has to be deployed according to the installation manual [IM ImageMaster].

At least one physical ImageMaster storage server has to be installed and the archive configuration must be set up with the ImageMaster AdminClient.

The document structure has to be set up by the ImageMaster AdminClient or directly by the system management services (chapter Managing a document structure). This requires the definition of at least one document type with corresponding attributes.

Basic authorization has to be customized by defining roles (chapter Role administration), or, if applicable, by deploying roles from an already existing ImageMaster environment. The role definitions have to be adjusted to consider the defined document types.
The document management services (chapter Document management services) will then be ready for usage to fill the repository and retrieve existing documents and content by queries.
