ImageMaster supports full-text search, which is based on Solr from the Apache Lucene project. For technical reasons this service requires a license file, but this is not a commercial license and it is provided for free. A separate installation of the Solr environment on dedicated hardware is required
The full-text search supports enhanced search features such as:

search with wildcards

phrase search

language dependent word stemming, which identifies grammatically related terms such as plural or singular forms, declined nouns or adjectives and conjugated verbs

combination of search terms by logical operators (NOT, OR, AND)

filter out stop words, i.e. ignore articles, conjunctions, and prepositions as search terms
By default the following languages are supported for full-text: German, English, Spanish, and French. The full-text engine can generally be customized to address specific requirements, for example to support synonyms or further languages.
