ImageMaster Time Signature for individual documents (time-stamping functionality)

With the time-stamping feature the document time signature guarantees the integrity of content objects of revisions as soon as they are stored in the archive. To achieve this, each content object, which is stored in ImageMaster, and which passes configurable filters, will be time-stamped. The timestamp is additionally stored as content in the revision. The timestamps are linked to the original contents using content properties. Contents for timestamp reports and timestamp queries can also be created and stored.

The service creates timestamps according to RFC 3161. The service is implemented using the ImageMaster extension model. A verification of a signature is supported along with the time-stamping functionality. A verification report based on the OASIS specification (OASIS DSS v1.0 Profile for Comprehensive Multi-Signature Verification Reports Version 1.0) can optionally be generated and stored along with the signature-related files.
