The ArchiveLink interface, as specified by SAP and supported by ImageMaster, enables an SAP application to archive SAP documents in the ImageMaster content repository and retrieve documents from ImageMaster. Based on the SAP overall conceptualization, an ImageMaster content repository can be configured as a content server, which, in terms of SAP, is any server that manages content, regardless of the underlying technology (database, file server, external archive, etc.). For this purpose, the certified ArchiveLink interface provides the means for sending documents to or receiving documents from a content server via HTTP.
