Save as a new ImageMaster document

  1. The user opens an existing Microsoft Office document or creates a new one using the native Microsoft 365 application (Word, Excel, or Outlook).

  2. The document is edited using the standard Office functionality.

  3. The ImageMaster OfficeClient add-in, integrated into Microsoft 365, provides the archiving functionality:

    • The user can save the document as a working copy in ImageMaster. This version is visible only to the current user.

    • When ready, the user checks in the document as a new entry in the ImageMaster archive. This version is then visible to all users with the appropriate access rights.

  4. The document transfer is handled by the OfficeClient Coordinator and the Integration Service, ensuring the document is properly stored and indexed.

  5. The maximum allowed document size for upload is defined in the IIS (Internet Information Services) configuration.
