Introduction and overview
In this course the PostboxClient is utilized by two main roles. A private customer receives receipts, and an account manager on the company side can communicate with the customer through correspondence.
From the perspective of the communicating company, features are supported in the background, which facilitate the administration. This includes a tracking to check if a document was opened and the possibility to trigger printing and traditional letter postage for all unread documents of a customer to fulfill legal requirements.
This documentation covers the areas in the PostboxClient which are available to end users in both of the main roles. General configuration aspects, which can only be set up by the technical system administration, are described in the AdminClient user manual [UM AdminClient].
