Registers
Registers define a set of fixed folders that are available if a new dossier is created in the template.

Registers can be added using the plus and minus buttons. Registers can be of the following types:
-
simple registers: a single, fixed register level
-
dossier: a second dossier template used as a sub-dossier within the register tree.
For each register a Preferred Class can be specified. The classes must be preconfigured. See Document classes for more details.
The maximum depth for nested registers is configurable via a hidden JVM option:
_ima.client.dossierRegistersMaxDepthLevel
If not set, a default of 5 levels is applied. All levels up to the configured depth are created automatically when a dossier is created. If the configured depth exceeds the value of the option, exceeding levels are ignored at runtime.
All predefined register levels configured in the template are created when a dossier instance is created. A sub-dossier (a register of type dossier) cannot contain any sub-registers. It is always the last node on its branch in terms of register nesting. A sub-dossier may, however, define and own its own set of registers within its own template. These are independent from the parent branch.
