Configure SAP Public Cloud

  1. Change the storage categories:

    To configure the storage categories for document management:

    • In SAP Public Cloud, navigate to:

      Central Business Configuration → Configuration → General Business Data → Data Management → Document Management → Attachment Services → Maintain Storage Categories (Activity ID: 103583)

    • Permission to open “Maintain Storage Categories” is required.

    • For online documentation, navigate to your instance XXX at:

      https://XXX.s4hana.cloud.sap/ui#IMGActivity-displayDocumentation?IMGActivity=CV_V_STOR_CAT

    • Select “SCP-DM.100” to store all data in the CMIS repository.

  2. Set up communication system and communication arrangement:

    Create a communication system and follow the tutorial instructions:

    • Host Name – Use the ECM URL from the service key:

      endpoints → ecmservice → url

      Example:

      api-sdm-di.cfapps.eu20.hana.ondemand.com

    • Outbound OAuth 2.0 Client Settings – Use the Token Service URL from the service key:

      uaa → url

      Example:

      imagemaster.authentication.eu20.hana.ondemand.com

    • Use the Client ID and Client Secret from the service key with OAuth 2.0 authentication.

    Create the communication arrangement “SAP_COM_0597”:

After completing the setup on the SAP side, verify the integration by checking whether CMIS object type definitions and folders have been successfully created in ImageMaster. To perform this check, open the relevant dialogs in the AdminClient, and make sure that the properties are mapped according to section Define CMIS property mapping.
