ImageMaster MetadataSync for ERP requires the use of an SAP function module, which is implemented in SAP’s ABAP programming language and is installed in the SAP system. By synchronizing the SAP metadata to ImageMaster, SAP documents can also be found via a search in the ImageMaster WorkplaceClient or SearchClient.
Important architectural note: Implementing ImageMaster MetadataSync (MDS) involves a significant implementation effort and always requires a customer-specific assembly.
In many scenarios, utilizing the ImageMaster Messaging for ERP approach serves as a more efficient and highly recommended alternative for synchronizing attributes between SAP and ImageMaster.
