GUI overview

The following ImageMaster GUI components are available:

• ImageMaster AdminClient to manage the mailbox configuration and related statistics

  The ImageMaster AdminClient allows the user to manage the configuration, to assign policies to mailboxes, to stop or cancel e-mail archiving and to display background job statistics. For details see the AdminClient user manual [UM AdminClient].

• ImageMaster Outlook Add-In to work with archived e-mails in Outlook (with high performance)

  The Outlook Add-In provides interactive functionality to archive, retrieve or view archived e-mails directly in Outlook and to restore e-mails in their original state on an Exchange server. It is equipped with a caching mechanism that also supports offline access and it provides the full spectrum of functionality of the ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail available to end-users.

• ImageMaster MailApp to work with archived e-mails if Outlook is not available (e.g. on mobile devices)

  A separate user manual is available [UM MailApp] and two components are provided:

  • the component “ImageMaster” to execute basic functions with e-mails (archive and retrieve)

  • the component “Archived E-Mail” to display information messages for archived items

  The MailApp is based on Microsoft’s app architecture.

• ComputerManagement (Windows Built-In) to view the message queues
