The ImageMaster WorkplaceClient offers typical functionalities as they are used in an environment for handling digital documents.
Creating, updating, or deleting documents

creating new documents or versions and storing them to an ImageMaster long-term archive

fitting documents with attributes and metadata at creation or by an update

checking out and checking in documents while locking them during an update

deleting documents conforming to permissions and retention rules
Any read-only based functionality as provided by the ImageMaster SearchClient is also inlcuded in a WorkplaceClient license.

The WorkplaceClient supports further special features like the following, which can require specific ImageMaster modules or licenses in combination with 3rd-party components:

The ImageMaster WorkplaceClient is equipped with an integrated viewer. An advanced PDF viewer is available and included on demand, which requires its own commercial license. For internal document format conversions, e.g. to render MS Office documents in a preview, a rendering engine is used, which provides ample customization possibilities.
