General prerequisites

The following preconditions have to be fulfilled:

• The Integration Service must be installed in an ImageMaster environment, see [IM ImageMaster], and the corresponding ImageMaster Web Services must be accessible from the FIS client host.

• The local FIS console client, such as the command line interface, must be installed and configured properly (see chapter Command line interface installation and configuration).

• FIS requires read/write access to the batch directories, its subdirectories and the protocol directories.

• FIS expects an appropriate directory structure with at least one batch directory and valid metadata files (see chapter Directory structures for import).

• At least one profile must be defined (see Profile configuration parameters). Within a new ImageMaster installation a default is provided, which can be adapted to your needs by the AdminClient, see section FIS profiles management in [UM AdminClient].

• Further permission prerequisites must be fulfilled according to the Integration Service authorization model (see chapter Permission prerequisites).
