Installation and configuration

The installation and configuration steps are executed in the operating system and in the Exchange environment. The ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail Coordinator requires Outlook. For details on the supported Microsoft Outlook and Exchange versions1 The installation procedure of components of the ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail is the same for on premise and Microsoft 365 Cloud Exchange environments. In any case it must be possible that each Coordinator can access its Microsoft Exchange servers. The projects' network route settings can differ in these cases., see the compatibility guide [T Compatibility Guide]. The following specific installers exist to set up the ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail:

• Coordinator installer to install the ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail Coordinator web services and Windows services on the ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail Coordinator host, see Executing the Coordinator installer for more detail. Starting from ImageMaster version 9.9.2.4 the installer is available in 64-bitness only:

  • x64 build for 64 Bit Outlook

During the installation process the default ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail user “ima4msx” is referenced, see Concept for roles, users, and document types for details.

The following check list summarizes all steps that have to be executed for setting up an ImageMaster Content Services for E-Mail environment:
